Post 96 T/A Rough at Idle...

96 TA LT-1, from what I can tell, bone stocker with 6 speed. Seems to run rough, but not missing at idle. You can hear some misfiring in the exhaust when you listen closely, and it seem to have more vibration than normal while sitting in it. However, when you punch the gas a little, it seem fine, just rough at idle. Supposedly recen plugs, and wires. Is this a cap and rotor ignition, or Coil Pack ignition? Any help is greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance!!

I would have to say that it sounds like the opti-spark is damaged. It also could have a vacum leak somewhere to cause the car to idle rough.

Thank you all, any other suggestions, I am all ears! I just got the car the other day, and havent had the time to play with it. I will check all the wires for good connection, and inspect hoses, and listen for vacum leaks...hopefully it is that simple, and not an opti. Will keep posted. Once again..thank you!!
