If you get the ones without emissions fittings, be aware that they do not have the EGR fitting as well so you will have to remove both the EGR and AIR systems. You will need some EGR blockoff plates and PCM tuning to avoid the SES light once those systems are taken out.

Will it still run ok before I have it tuned or I'm I going to have it get it tuned up at the sametime? Man you can drop some $$$ quick on these car's. What would you do.

If you remove the air pump, it will still run okay but you will have the obvious check engine light illuminated on the gauge cluster. Personally, I would just wait until you are completely sure if you want to install headers and what type you plan to install. Removing the air pump will not yield you any performance gain other then shedding a few pounds off of your car.

If you're keeping cat's, keep the AIR pump.
