96 camaro z28 no start. HELP

Need help. I've posted on a different board but I need all the brains in the world for help.

96 camaro z28. 87K. Auto.

Removed wheel locks with hammer and chisel as the key was lost. Took wheel locks off. Replaced tires and wheels. Car wont start. It did run great.

Car has spark. Car has fuel.

items new in the car are
fuel pump...
Opti with only about 4 miles and 4 months on it. Fuel filter.

I bypassed the Vats key under the steering column. Nothing.

What the car does is...

It will crank and nothing. It will crank and cough once. It crank and cough twice. It will then crank and do nothing. Then back to a cough.

Nothing happend to the car between running good ....then romoving wheel locks...now no starting.

I was going to replace the Crank position sensor but that wont matter as the car is obd II.

I would point to coil or the ICM but there is spark.

Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

P.S.
I've worked on a million cars but the stress level of this one is a record setter.

Oh Man,you need to put the wheel locks back on for the car to run!!!! LOL,just kidding...If you have access to a fuel pressure gauge, try putting it on and cranking it over and verify how much pressure you really have..How did you check for spark? Also check the injector fuse. You could always try spraying some starting fluid into the tb and try starting it.

Injector fuse has been checked. Can a ICM or coil still produce spark but be bad????

Have you scanned for any trouble codes?

Re: 96 camaro z28 no start. HELP

The code it threw is not related to the non start issue. It was an O2 sensor code that has now been replaced. Code just not cleared.

Still no start.
