Question 96-97 SS Air box install

I recently purchased a original SLP SS ram air hood and air box for my 1996 Z28. My question is how does the air box mount?
I didn't receive any bolts or brackets, so I'm not sure how it actually stay in place.

Thanks for you help.

The front two bolts that hold the fuel rails are used to mount the box.So just remove those and install it.Pretty simple.Oh yeah, welcome aboard.

OOO, Pretty simple. There is also what looks to be another mounting spot where the elbow comes in to the mass air flow meter, anything goes here??

Again thanks for the help and the welcome.

Forgot about that.I think it is held by a hose clamp to that bracket.I removed mine and never put it back on.It really isnt necessary.

I believe mine bolts to the intake manifold. It doesn't exactly fit squarely either.

Maybe I'm wrong but it just appears that SLP drilled and tapped the intake and the box just screws in. They actually made 3 holes, apparently screwing up the initial position.

Just another example of shoddy workmanship. JMHO

I hope they did not mount it to the intake! I won't be drilling any holes in my intake!! I'm instaliing the hood and air box tonight, so we will see.
