95z with Lloyd Elliot heads and cam on track in the rain

Just ran at Road Atlanta last weekend and dominated in the time trial in the rain. My car is a 383 LT1 with lloyds heads and LE4 cam. This is a great combo and does even better with rain tires.

Awesome, I want to get in to road racing a little. Closest to that I have done yet is Auto Crossing, I impressed my self when I did that though, my first run of the first and only time I ever went out I got the best time of all of the amateur class. But this a completely different, I definitely would not be doing 130+ in the rain on a road course yet haha, that was a great video man. I want to see one on a good clear day.

Ok so if you have a M6, why then was this thing shifting into higher gears on the straight aways with your right hand still on the wheel??

Watch the video closely, the audio is not synced with the video very well, he shifts the car and the audio of the car accelerating keeps going for about 2 seconds before the audio of the shift comes in to play.

Glad you guys enjoyed it. I just wanted to show how strong these cars can be-not only in a straight line, and even in the rain. I have been working on this car for a long time, it does well on track, but is not really happy on the street.

I am not sure how much power the car makes, I have never checked, but most likely 425+ at the wheels.
Looking at my data, I was able to pull over .6 g's in accel-that is when I come out of turn 7 in 2nd. I was also able to hit 1.2 g's lateral in the rain-not bad in turn 6. I just got my data acq, but I suspect I can hit 1.5 lateral g's in the dry.

BTW, those are the original wipers on the car- I bought it new in 95 it has 65 k miles on it

1.2g's in the rain is amazing! Very impressive.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was over 425rwhp even with the le2 heads.

amazing video.im putting down that power (420+ @ wheels) and my cars well behaved on the street, running a much less aggressive cam. you probably have at least 440 to the wheels. Looks like it takes ***** to run that track in the rain.

lol @ wiper mileage ;p
