Question 95 Z28

I have a stock Z28. I want to start building up the horsepower. I need a good place to learn about all the ways to modify the car. I don't know where to start. I don't want to spend $2000 on the first mods, I want to start out slow and build from there. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. I see Nitrous, superchargers, cams, cat backs, etc. Not sure about the pros and cons of each. I know it would take forever to respond with all the info so if anyone can point me in the right direction either in this forum or another place I can go. Thanks in advance

you can start with a search on: cold air intakes, exhaust, headers etc. those ware what you want to start with and the search will give you plenty of reading and info

First mods should be intake and exhaust, then dabble in some gears and suspension. If you got an A4, high stall torque conveter is good too.

In general allot of people who just get these cars come on this site. And ask "what should I do" questions. Everyone always yells "do a search." I think it would be nice if they added a "Beginners Page" That gave the run down on things you can do to these cars and what to look out for when you first get them...just an idea.

Yeah i agree there should be a begginer page with a list of how some of the mods should go. The first 2 most important mods are exhaust/cutout and CAI. After that get yourself a good set of headers. After you get those then you can decide one what else you need.
