paaaaleeeeeease. Those times that they report in magazine are
highly padded , trying to get that low time takes like 20 trys ,etc.
I wouldnt worry about them, plus sales of them are crap because they are built cheap.

Comeing from an F-body owner

The LT1 F-body is the textbook definition of poor build quality.

I dont care how fast it is, its still a neon and wrong wheel drive.
For Christ sakes the selling promotion/ slogan for it was "Hi!" when it came out.
That thing has "chick" and "homo written all over it!"

Other than that, its pretty nifty.

I dont really care for the et, I look at traps speeds and these thing are consistant 99-100mph cars. They are about as fast as a stock six speed LT1.

Strange, I've never seen Cadillac written on any F-body. Ever.

Well last time at the track a guy had ordered one from Florida and drove it up here to Michigan, he said it was stock except for the cold air induction throuth the headlight hole, with stock air filter. I checked out his engine and didn't see anything modified, but he may have had a bigger turbo, I don't know. Anyway his timeslip was 13.9 @ 99 with 2.0 60ft. He said he got major wheelhop and couldn't get it to hook at any rpm. He was reving the hell out of it, from what he told me. Thats pretty quick, my 104 mph and 13.8 didn't look to impressive to him (he didn't say anything with words, but expressions were forefront) They are very close to stock LT1s, but I think we still have an edge. I was pushing a 2.5 60ft with that time, so with sticky tires I could see low 13's high 12's, and I've got the heavy vert with another 100 pounds of just crap like stereo stuff, and tools. I had cai, longtubes, duals/cats, and pcmforless tune when I ran that time. So really it doesn't take much to outrun them. On the street just having some gears and exhaust hould keep them at bay. Which by the way, the gearing for that car is 4.40 final drive ratio combined with the first gear, this helps them out alot. I noticed ath the track, no one was really talking to the guy, it kind of stuck out from all the other musclecars though.

The truth of the matter is that there fast.

I raced one 3 times in a row,

First run from a light, he had me in first gear and kept on pulling away.

Second run was from about 30mph. Same thing happend again. He kept on pulling away from me

So we hit the freeway. I thought to myself, "I'll get him this time". We start from 70mph, Same thing happend again until about 110mph when he stoped pulling and I think I started gaining

Sad but true. He's all stock. Not one mod.

This all happend when I was stock

I obliterated one from a stop. Oops...I'm not stock.

Honestly, it's still a Neon. And unless you're a flaming homo or a girl, then you have the right to drive one.

12 second timeslips. "Hi" this.
