Unhappy 95 SIlver Z VErt. VANDALIZED!

Guys my car got vandalized!

I awake to a large **** drawn on my hood, keyed every surface, ripped into the convertible top to gain access, got inside and smashed the radio, sliced up my two front seats(leather) and popped the hood to grab my K&N & MAF. My MSD Ignition was almost robbed but not taken just thrown aside luckily.

my insurance company is telling me that it might be totalled. I know the claims adjuster puts a number into a computer that just gives him a yes or no to pay out or total. So it isn't his fault It's just that they haven't asked me for recepits yet. I called them but they are going to get back to me.

I have all of my recepits on file showing that within the last 6 months close to 11,000 went into performance parts for the car including soundproofing, detailing, etc. I'm just ****tin my pants cuz I dont want my investment to go down the tubes for a couple seats and a paintjob Peace guys

So sorry to hear about that man. I've got a 95 convertible that was keyed by the ex wife earlier this year. I still haven't been able to get it repaired. I was thankful that she didn't go for the top.

I want to let you know about an auction I found last night on EBay. I was brousing through the site looking at what was for sale for camaro's, and I found a 95 convertible that someone in New HAmpshire is parting out. Right now they just have the tail lights listed, but in the auction it states that they are parting out the whole car and to contact them for other parts. It was hit in the front, so I would imagine that the top is OK. YOu might want to check with them. I've never removed mine, but I hear that it is pretty easy to do (either 4 or 6 bolts total). Here is the link to the taillight auction so you can get their e-mail.

I hope this helps.

Joe

If they do total it, then just pay the money to buy the car back, and use the money they gave you for the total to repair it.

exactly. if you didn't claim any of those parts with the insurance company you probably won't get any more money then the book value they would give to a stock car. on a side note i'm very sad to here about your car. some people deserve to be strung up..........

That sucks man, sorry to hear that.

Sorry to hear that about your car. I've had things happen to my cars like my 69 Dodge Charger getting egged and keyed. Also my ex girlfreind smeared lotion all over my 93TA. She was crazy, what can I say. When my Charger got keyed I was so upset, I can feel your pain. I'll i cared about was knowing who would do that to such a nice car. A couple months ago a couple of freinds were over at another freinds house late one night. My friend went to the kitchen window and said, "heh Kyle did you leave your light on inside your car". We ran outside to find this fu**in punk trying to steal his stereo. He saw us and ran, but we caught him and beat the sh*t out of him. Nothing happened to my freinds car, but we got to beat the sh*t out of somebody for a good reason. Hope you get your car fixed

I must say: thanks guys Awesome! I am going to contact that guy about the parting out silver Z convert immediatly. * And damn it sucks to hear that it happens so often. I knwo I am going to get some crazy kind of alarm system now. with sensors all around the car and some crazy *** shiet! I talked to someone and they just said that they were going to contact us and I made sure I made a point that I had receipts for 11,000 dollars and the car was 6 and it was recent so they know I invested a lot and when they see the proof; can't say it is a stock car by any means. Therefore it should be said to not be totalled and I will just get some damn money to fix it. I am preying this is what is going to happen. If not I am not letting this damn car go because someone scratched the paint, its absurd to even freakin think about it (all my fun and pride and getaway mobile) hell no too many memories in my nice ride so I would definately buy it back but I better not be losing money in the deal. the thing that makes me feel good about things is I originally just spent six thousand dollars for the car in mint condition with 70k from a friend. I am preaying it comes out with me on top. thanks guys, Peace
