95 LT1..do I have an oil cooler???
95 LT1..do I have an oil cooler???
Jes called Jason Cromer to order a new IAC valve and he asked if my car has an oil cooler...he said it makes a difference. I have no clue, does it lol??
Where do I need to look to see if I have one? A picture would be perfect if someone has one...

Your oil filter will hang down lower. It goes between the filter and the block. There will also be two lines running from it to the radiator and water pump.
My 95 had them and it made it a pain to work on things like the pan gasket.

So if I jes looked between the oil filter and the block and saw nothing, with no lines running that that area that I could see(looking from behind the driver side front tire) it probably dont have one?
Re: 95 LT1..do I have an oil cooler???
ok so from looking at the diagram, the hose that comes off the driver side, bottom part of the radiator would go to the two tubes.(Hose 11 in the diagram) My hose goes directly from the bottom of the radiator to the water pump....so looks like I dont have one???

on the driver side, there are no small hoses, only large hoses that run directly to the waterpump. So looks like no oil cooler for me!
