95 impala ss??

ok guys i have a 94 z28 and i bought a low mileage motor out of a 95 wrecked T/a put the motor in its not running rite mite be bad not for sure...but anyway i found a motor out of a 95 impala ss and was wondering if this would work in my 94 z28?

It'll work but they aren't completely the same. The impalas, caprices, roadmasters, and fleetwood brougham have iron heads. Only the camaros, trans ams, and vettes got aluminum heads. If it bothers you then just swap the heads while the engine is out.

Cam is also different. Lower compression ratio. But at least you get a vented Opti.

Yes, with about 8% less lift. I don't remember the cam duration but would expect it to be less than the F and Y bodied variants.
