95 impala LT1 questions

I got a 95 impala motor at good price, it didn't have an opti, so i'm putting a vented one in. Will the dowel pin need replaced with the longer one? what other things should I change by putting a vented one on?

By theway its going in a 49 ford. Does anyone know the measurments of the raditor in and lt1 camaro?

Re: 95 impala LT1 questions

The 95's were the first year of the vented opti so you shouldn't need to change anything.

AFAIC, 1996LT1NY knows his sh*t. I agree, '94 was first year of vented opti.

94 in the b and d-bodies, the changeover for the f-bodies is 95 but I suppose a few 94 might have gotten vented stranger things have happened.
