Arrow 95 Formula LT1 Low Coolant light

95 Formula LT1 with M6 trans. Original radiator developed leak so put new one in today. All buttoned up and no coolant leaks now. Filled radiator and closed cap, added water to reservoir and bled air from the 2 bleed screws by intake, temp gage remains in proper area on the scale on the dash. Problem is I keep getting the Low Coolant light illuminating on the dash. Should I just let it cool off over night and let the bottle compensate or anything or have I missed something? Thanks, Bret. PS-car is completely stock, no mods.

Its one of the "known issues" with these cars. Check out member Shoebox for lots of good how to info. Mine is on too! Could be dirty/contaminated connector at sensor (hard to get at, but easy enough to clean) or the sensor itself. Some people even disconnect it.
Good one you for acknowledging you did proper bleed procedures, you wouldn't believe how many people try to skip that step.

If it still lights when the engine is cold and the coolant is up to the top, the sensor is defective. That's very common. They leak coolant inside and that ruins the electronics in the sensor.

Thanks for the answers. The reality is I will probably have to be letting this one go soon. Hopefully someone can give it a good home.
