95 accel 300 ign on a 97

95 accel 300 ign on a 97

i bought a used accel 300 ign for my 97 firebird ,i believe the wire harness is made for a 95. can i use the older harness with the newer coil module , i'm thinking about splicing in the newer connectors.
i'm just not sure if the other wires to the 97 coil module would be a problem.

IMO, just buy the correct harness for your coil.

if i can't get an answer here i will buy a new harness ... but if all i have to do is cut and solder 4 wires , why not
i also did a little searching and couldn't find the harness only on a few different parts stores sites, any ideas on where to find one,
