Hey all, my car runs rather poorly and has bad throttle response except when I have it wide open, then it runs like a champ. I've searched alot of threads but I haven't seen a problem quite like this. I recently replaced the opti and put in a new EWP at the same time. Double checked everything there and it's good to go. I'm running out of ideas, can you guys help me?

Mine was doing the same thing and I found a number of potential problems. For one my opti harness insulation was cracking and moisture was getting on the wires. Then I found that my throttle body was not on the intake tight, my exhaust manifolds were also loose in the rear and mass air flow sensor was not working properly. oh and my alternator was not charging very well, so I took a look around it, and I found that the electrical socket on it was burnt to a crisp !
Since then have gotten all new parts and I will be trying it out soon, I just have to put it all back together cause I deleted the air system, which I found was also leaking air out.

good grief this car is making me poor.

Good Lord that's a lot of problems. Yeah I don't know anymore, after going to work today I found it's running like crap 100% of the time. I did about a 15sec brakestand and she only kept em rolling about 15 feet after I let off the brakes I've put over $1500 into this car only to get it running like it should and now I'm back to square one-no actually running worse than it ever was. **** on it, this thing is a money pit. It is fun when it's running right though I just don't know how much more money I should put into it before it's not worth it anymore.

Ok, screw it. I'm gonna get a full tune up. What should I tell my shop to do cuz I don't have any time to work on it right now.
