'94 will not start

When I turn my key, everything comes on like normal (dash lights, fuel pump, etc,) but it does nothing. Took the starter off and had it tested, it's fine. There is a "Security" light that is flashing while I am trying to start it which I haven't noticed before which leads my to think it's something with that PASS-Key II stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ignition isn't reading the chip on your key properly. This has happened to me on a few occasions. I usually let it sit for an hour or more and it fires right up. If that doesn't work, and I can't be sure since it always does for me, but you may have to get a new key from the dealer.

There may be alternatives, we'll see when some experience chimes in.

When you turn the key, does everything die? If so I had that exact problem with my 94. It ended up that the battery cable was bad. I replaced them both and it started fine. This was after I had replaced the Pain in the @$$ starter twice. Check your cables and the connections to the batt. Mine looked fine from uptop but they were definately not ok.

I forgot to mention.....if it is a passkey problem, you can merely get out of the car lock it with the keyfob and then unlock it with the keyfob. Get in and try it again. You dont need to wait.
