94 T/A turn signal trouble

hey guys, i seem to have a problem. i just replaced my rear turn signal bulbs( in the tail light housing) and when i turn my signals on when driving, they blink really slow. like a huge delay before each click. what could be causing this? the socket itself? and what do i have to do to fix this? please help. its rather annoying.

Was it doing this before? Take a good look at the bulbs and sockets. Corrosion in the sockets is a problem.

i replaced the first tail light turn signal bulbe, and than it started to blink slow with huge delays. and than after i changed the right turn signal bulb, the right signal started to blink and the clicking when i would turn it on is slow. they blinked perfectly untill i changed the bulbs. i changed the bulbs because they were old and not burning as bright. how do i fix the socket if thats the problem? thanks

TTT I just replaced my passanger side socket using a cheap replacement from autozone and thats exactly what it was... Cheap. I need two new ones for the front turn signals (1157s)

Shoebox, got the part numbers I need? Please...

BTW, the new socket did fix the delay I was receiving. As shoebox said, my old socket was rusted out real bad. However the new socket from autozone doesnt fit, I just have it sitting in there to buy me some time.

The front sockets are GM PART # 12159662 or ACDelco part # LS54. They are proud of these. $$

The rear sockets for the T/A, stop and tail lamp are GM PART # 12141493 or ACDelco # LS49.
