i was driving it the other day and got on it hard and when i came back the engine started smoking, doesnt smell like oil and doesnt realy smell like anything realy:confused,the temp was normal and it wasnt raining or anything. it was comming from the back of the engine does anyone know what it could be? and also when u floor it from a dead stop u hear a weird grinding type sound, its kinda loud but doesnt realy sound like its internal. someone told me it could be a lose rocker?

 

I would make sure that you aren't dripping oil onto your exhaust.

 

I'm going to guess oil on your headers. Doesn't really smoke unless you have a consistant drip. How are your valve cover gaskets? Can you see any "wet" spots where you see the smoke?

Another poss. is when you got on it you blew your head gasket.

Look for wet spots...
