Arrow 94 LT1 and 700R4.. which flexplate?

I have a 94 LT1 with a 94 flexplate on it. I want to mate the engine with a 700R4. Can I keep the 94 flexplate or do I have to use the 93 one? I think I remember something about having to use the 93 one, but I'm not sure. I'd install the 93 but the bolts on the 94 are a little rusty and I'm afraid of braking one...
Thanks!

I'm not certain but I think that you're supposed to use the 93.

Well I just did an engine swap and I used a 94 flexplate on a 93 engine. I haven't noticed any problems YET. It bolts up fine, starts fine, no noises, vibrations, etc. ( Before using it I checked aftermarket flexplates and they sell the same part # for both years. I was also told by a GM mech that they are the same.) Also, the AC/Delco site lists the "flywheel" as being the same for all year LT1's. (Doesn't list a flexplate though).

P.S. That's a 93 LT1 mated to a 92 700R4. Just to clarify things.

I did 4l60e to 700R4 conversion without having to change flexplates. You shouldn't have a problem.
