Yo

So you think the car is worth 5k? I'm really going back and forth if I should take this and repair it, or just keep looking. Thanks fellas

it may need anew opti ,etc soon if it hasnt been replaced. brakes can be expensive, the window motor is not but about 55 dollars and free labor if you go that route. look around, but i know it is hard to find exactly what you want, but i would wait until the exact car you are looking for is available, ie maybe wait for a manual, t/a, etc

Yo

I'm looking around on ebaymotors and they got some good deals. Looking around the 7500$ mark and there and under you even see some high mileage LS1's!! If I could get a LS1 that would be freakin insane!! I wouldn't need to do anymore than a full exhaust, K&N, and intake to meet my hp goals... hehe

A high mileage LS1 couldn't be to bad right? Considering it could only be no more than 4 years old (It was a 2000) it had to be driven on the highway. I know this is LT1 tech... sorry :-/

I think you are thinking way too much. It all depends on what you want. It is really hard to give an opinion on a car we haven't seen. If it doesn't spin the tires then you know there is already a prob. Don't make the mistake that so many people do and just rush in and get to ansy. Look until you find a CAR that freaking wows you..

I wouldnt worry about the spinning the tires thing...

I have a 4.10 and when I had my comp T/As it struggled to break them loose w/o any clutch. (at least from 2k rpms)

I now have a new set of eagle F1s and they break right loose when I ease it to the floor in first. If its got good tires, itll hook. Especially if you dont have 4.10s like me
