I finished my intake leak a while ago now, bout' a month. A lot of the time now when i put the pedal down 1/2 -3/4. the tranny won't upshift. I either have to peg the throttle to the floor quickly or get out and extend the tv cable.
--Could I have wrecked something with the cable when doing the leak repair?
--Or what could be wong with the transmission?
--Rebuild Time? 114k on the odometer

 

I had the same problem when I repaired an intake leak a couple of years ago. The cable would not self adjust so I manually moved it one notch at a time until the car shifted properly. No problem since.
