Question 93 M6 folks, speedo questions

What are you using to correct your speedos after gear swaps? I have a cyberdyne box now, but it sucks a$$.

Thanks
Ben

I think you will have to have a chip burned for your car, I have a '93 M6 too and with the 3.73's instead of 3.42's the speedo is 10 over. You can have www.PCMforless.com tune it and they can change the gear ratios to adjust the speedo.
The chip is $150 for the first time, and $20 for each time you have them modify it.

Neither pcmforless or ed wright can burn a chip to correct the speedos.

u cant do it via a chip. slp sells a calibration box that you should use, has several dip switchs that you can set to match any gear/tire combo.

i too, have that pos cyberdyne box also... only works till about 85 mph then speedo drops to zero. i bought the slp unit and the cyberdyne has been collecting dust in a junk drawer ever since.

to my knowledge this it the only option for 93 m6 guys.

There is no way to tune for gears on 93's. SLP stopped production a while back on the speedo recalibration boxes, but you can find them new on Ebay every now and then. Look for the seller "foundadeal". He sold me two SPL boxes brand new for $70 each.

Thanks for the info on the SLP box. I'm glad to hear it is better than the cyberdyne POS, looks like I need to find one.
