93 M6 120k On body 7K on motor $3800?
Im looken to buy this car. Suppsoably the current owner who has only had the car for about 1 1/2 years replaced the motor w/ a praticlly new one from a 97 which had 1,000k on it at the time, now he says it has about 7k. Which would make sense. The exterior is pretty good. The interior is pretty dirty and has some broken stuff, like the driverside seat wabbles, shifter boot is all messed up because the guy said he put a short throw in it (duno how that would effect the shifter boot and make it somehow be inside the console/ and half sticking out). And other minor things like a part of the speaker cover coming off etc.. It needs to be cleaned. I got it down to around 3800 from 5,000. Assuming everything else is fine, what do you think? He says the motor was put in by his dad and he shows me an email recipet from the place he bought hte motor from online. Is it even possible to find an LT1 w/ 1k on it?

Sounds like the car has been beaten up pretty good. Personally, I haven't seen an LT1 with only 1000 miles on it, but I'm sure they do exist. I'm guessing the motor that was in the 97 was rebuilt, used for a 1000 miles, and then yanked for whatever reason and eventually made its way into the car you are looking to purchase.
