'93 LT1--Best way to 12's
12s are pretty easy IMO if you have traction. Headers, CAI, cuout, gears and program and you should be running high 12s easily.
Add a big cam (847 like you are talking), and lloyd heads and you are looking at 11s

Everyone is talking about CAI. This is going into my 3rd gen, so would a home-made Ram Air system work just as well? http://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/ramair.shtml
Ok so I'm going to be doing headers, ram-air, GM847, custom chip. Seems like that'll be good for mid-high 12's. The heads probably will come next summer (it's more expensive than I thought). Thanks everyone! Since I'm holding off on the heads, should I get new springs/locks/retainers/pushrods, any head parts for the new cam?

Running a cam like the 847 isnt cheap. Need good springs, locks, retainers, rocker arms, pushrods and i would go for aftermarket timing chain too since the revs are going to be high. All the stock valvetrain stuff is junk and cant be run.
