Hi I just bought 93 formula lt1 it's making a noise on passenger side of engine it's not a ticking like a lifter. Any thoughts of what it might be rocker arm maybe. This is my 6th lt1 and never heard this type of noise. So I appreciate any help I can get? Oil is very clean no water in oil. check for broken or missing exhaust manifold bolt on that side, rear.

 

It's not a ticking like a lifter? So what does it sound like?

Let's move this to "LT1 Based Engine Tech". "Drivetrain" is for the trans, driveshaft, rear axle, etc.
