93 f-body question

My dad talked to some guy at a car show last week, he also had a 93 and said that some of the 93 f-bodies came with 4 bolt mains. Obviously im not just gonna take his word for it, any input that confirms or unconfirms that would be appreciated.

Yea man its been rumored for a while, no way to tell unless you take the pan off and check and I dont think any one is willing to go through all that work just to check an internet rumor. How ever people have pulled their motors to rebuild them, when Rooster builds his new motor this winter we will have to ask him to take some pics. I have heard both sides that they did and some say they didnt. I'm just waiting for some one to rebuild the motor them selves and check.

The date on the door jam is failry acurate, I'd imagine your motor would be a month older than that date.

Pretty sure the F-body 93s all had 2 bolt mains.
I got a partially disassembled 93 shortblock sitting in my garage. I'll let you know when I drop the pan...

I believe the 93's out of a vette were 4-bolt mains. My 93 Camaro was a 2-bolt main

Mine was the first 93 delivered in the area and it had two bolt mains that we converted to four bolt when it was rebuilt into a full race motor.
