93 adjustable fuel pres. regulator

I'm thinking about getting one since i have heard they work on '93's. I would like to know which one's are the best bang for the buck and where to get them?

thanks in advance!

I picked up 10 rwhp and 17 rwtq using the Hypertech AFPR. I would either get a Hypertech or Accel. I currently have the Aeromotive AFPR and think the hypertech worked better on my car.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for them and where ?

What pressure do you have it set at?

thanks again.

The nice ones run for around $150. Pressure is dependent upon the motor. Everyone has a different pressure that works best for them. Most people have it anywhere from upper 30's to upper 40's.

I got mine from SLP for just under $60... With my stock injectors I set it down to 38PSI w/ the vavume line off... Still playing with it with the new 28lb injectors.

You can pick AFPR from anyone of the vendors on this board. I had mine set at 42 psi. The best way to set your fuel pressure is on the dyno.

Just remember that 93's require a specific AFPR. I believe it is the same as TPI units.

I was looking into the SLP unit, and it states it's for all f'body's 93-97 - not specifying a different one for '93's.

Should this one work for my 93?
