I did a search for this and didnt really find what I was looking for, I have a 93 Z28, looking into building an engine for it. Can I use any year block and any year crank? Im gonna run a stock crank with forged rods/pistons. And while Im at it is there anything else that is not interchangeable between different years. I already have a 93 intake so I got that covered.

It's all basically the same. Timing covers for opti were different, but thats it.

 

I have a 94 and used everything out of a 96 no problem, if that helps.
