89 octane in my tank :(

Hey! My g/f just got home and told me that she put a full tank of 89 octane...crap.

Should I go out and get some octane booster? Let the car run through the tank and not worry about it?

Peace!

Not a big deal. Just get the premium stuff the next time you fill up.

Just don't smash on it too much especially if its hot. In all honesty, if you don't notice a difference just driving it normally then don't even worry about it, pretend it's premium.

To be a real problem, you'd probably have to have all of the following: your knock sensor bypassed, the 89 octane was a bad batch, very hot outside. So long as you don't have all three of those conditions, I agree that you should be just fine until your next fill up! Your knock sensor should keep you out of trouble until then
