847 and cc 306 guys

im not sure if he is milling them or not but im having a set of stock lt1 heads ported and he is gonna put bigger valves in them. 2.00/1.60's i think. will that be to big for the stock bottom end with a cam and 1.6 rr? and 2. what are the specs and part number on the gm 847 cam i havent heard of that one yet. i was considering the cc 306 but im open to whatever is best. i have crane springs part #10308-1..will these be good enough to support either of these cams? last of all if any of you have sound clips send away

grease i tried to email you but it keeps coming back!!

people put heads and CC306's on stock bottom ends all the time on here. The only thing is you will probably rev pretty high and with higher rev's comes more chance for failure to happen.

GM Performance parts should sell the 847, and yes, Crane springs will work, they support .600 lift at 7K rpms...
