60' Times ?? please read

My 60's average 2.08 and the 1/4 time is 14.03 @ 97mph. Now my question is if I drop my 60' to 1.9 how much will that drop my E.T. ?
I will be going to the track this weekend, Im hoping to break into the 13's..... Im going to try some weight reduction (remove the back seats etc...) but I dont know how much that will help. With me in the car the weight is 3468.

Your 60ft time is part of your ET. Therefore whatever improvements are made there will be reflected in your ET.

I think it depends on your momentum, how it's reflected.. Sometimes you can spin more and run quicker at the other end. It just depends.. 14.03 isn't bad though, your car looks almost like mine except I have the shorty headers which shouldn't make much difference. Mine is a 6 speed and it ran 14.06's at 98. I had a 2.12 and a 2.09 60ft.
Have you scanned your computer? I know on mine i'm getting 9 degrees KR at the higher rpms so it should break a 13 if i get that out. I don't see why yours wouldn't break the 13's even with a 2.08.

Damn. You have a very light car. How much do you weigh?
As far as 60' times in coralition of 1/4 mile times, you can see usually for a moderately modded car about a .1 (60) resulting in a .2 (1/4) . But like everything else your power output can change that.

I was told that for every .100 you drop your 60ft time, it will drop your 1/4 times by .150.

well, its all estimates.

i got a 2.0 60' in my stock 95 t/a and ran a 14.00, then got a 2.1 and ran a 13.90, with even more mph on the 2nd run. same night, same mods (k&n), and same tires.

so how is it that i took off .1 on the 1/4 and added .1 on the 60', who knows, the best estimate is the one that the computer makes when you cross the traps, other then that, nothing really matters!

go run it, and tell us how it does.
