What transmission fluid are you guys running? I was lookin at red-line...but that's really expensive. Any other good ones out there?

Mobil 1 makes a good synthetic and just changing it on the normal basis with a good approved oil like Castrol, etc is fine. Royal Purple is real good too, expensive though as well.

Honda ATF, apparently the t-56's like Honda ATF very much. Two friend mechanics both LT1/t-56 experts highly recommend it.

Don't use syntetic oil, regular transmission oil is better for your M6.

I use Mercedes-Benz ATF. Not because its the best but because I can get it free at work. But after three years of abuse, powershifting a launching at the track, my transmission shifts smooth and does not have that annoying rattle it did when I first bought the car.

yup, honda ATF is nice..... I got it for like $3 a quart at my local honda dealer.... I felt like a tool walking in there, they had one of those new stupid box on wheels suv thing (the element).
I think it takes just over 4 quarts.
