6 cylinder auto trans

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the 4l60e trans in a 97 v6 and a 97 TA? I have a chance to pick one up pretty cheap, but it needs to be a direct bolt in.

The bolt pattern where it bolts to the engine is different so it won't be a direct bolt in. Sorry to break the news.

i know the 60 degree V6 transmissions bolt up differently, like the 2.8 and 3.4 V6s from the 3rd gens, ,and early 4th gens, but the 97 V6 was the 3.8 liter, and might be a 90 degree V6...

food for thought, someone should know for sure.
