6 and 8 running RICH....Monoblade?

383 stroker, FMS 42lb injectors, Monoblade. Pulled the plugs and looked alright but the 6 and 8 (passanger side back plugs) were completely black. Any ideas why would only 2 of them were black. Car has split BLMs due to Monoblade and no IAC passage...i am guessing thats part of the problem?
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks

yes the monoblade is prone to give problems like this because there is no IAC passage and basically the "cylinders" are fighting fot the excess air. It could also be that those injectors are leaking...

Re: 6 and 8 running RICH....Monoblade?

Anyone know if the Split BLM article solved Saint69's problem??? I have a new stroker with the same problem.... really black plugs on Cylinders 6 and 8.

I have the same intake, throttle body and IAC that I had before the stoker upgrade, so Im wondering if I might have some other problem besides the one suggested by the Split BLM write up since previously my BLMS were very close to each other.

Woah, the valvespring broke? Wouldn't that mean that the valve would get dropped?

I guess it's better to run rich on those cylinders than to wreck a piston and a valve guide...

I had tripple springs, so the valve did not drop thank god.
The plugs were black because the valve was not opening/closing as it should
