52mm throttle body sticking open at 5%
no we didn't notch the tps sensor, do we need too?? it will read 0%
If you let off the gas the blades stick at 5% and it idle's at 1,600-1,700rpms , now if you blip the throttle it will fully close and read 0% on datamaster and idle back to normal at 900.
The stock 48mm throttle body had no issuses at all, it acts like the springs is not strong enough to close itself from part throttle.

same problem in my car. harris speed works had it down good from the beginning, then it got worst. only thing i can think of to fix it is to put more strain on the blades by making the spring go around that rod antoher time.
I know you said nothing is touching the blades, but if you didn't already, look for light scratches where the blades might be touching the walls as they close. My new Summit 58mm would ocassionally hang open if I closed it real gently, and I found very slight marks in the bores there. I touched the witness marks on the bores lightly with 400 grit and it closes smooth as glass now.
Search is your friend. You do not have to add spring pressure, just lubricate the shaft that goes through the housing and has the blades attached. I used graphite lube that was 2+ years ago and still no issues. Quick and easy and you won't have a pedal that is "hard" to depress.
