52mm Throttle Body?

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know anything about the custom 52MM TBs like Nomad's and the others offered on eBay?

Is a 48mm bored to 52mm just as good as the aftermarket TBs like the ones offered by Edelbrock and BBK?

I'm thinking of an upgrade but wondering if there is a difference.

As long as there are new throttle blades installed, and a precise machine job is done, than the machined OEM one will be just as good as an Edelbrock/BBK.
