52 mm t/body

I have been told by some that once you install headers on an lt1 you have to install a 52 mm t/body.
The car is a bolt-on 95 Z with a fipk, catback, hot cam,2500 stall and 3:42's in the rear. I still have the stock 48mm t/body for now and would only change it if needed.
I need some info on this.

You don't have to do anything you don't want to. There are plenty of people out there with headers and the stock TB.

yes

i would get on of these, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1993-...QQcmdZViewItem i got one for my 355 lt1, 52mm so you wont have to port match your intake. use with a good cai, looks like you have one, a good elbow would help also...most of the respone felt will be faster throttle response, and better breathing ability in the higher rpms(more pwr)

At this stage of the game, there are probably some other mods that will make a bigger improvement. The money would be better spent on some 1.6 roller rockers or a mail order tune if you already haven't done those.
