519 hp and 585 ft lbs of torque at the wheels!!!

The very first dyno run with the supercharger yielded 519 hp and 585 ft lbs of torque at the wheels!!!

Just got back and I'm really excited. The numbers are on the stock opti with the belt slipping. The power was 519.2 at 5000 and 583 at just 4400. We need to change the plugs to tr7s (colder), hook up the LTCC, put on the ET streets (it was smoking the street tires on the dyno...) and start monkeying around with the tune. The numbers above were with a very safe and conservative tune. Should end up over 600 hp at 6000 and 650 torque at the wheels.

The very cool thing is that it's hitting and keeping 10 lbs of boost at the manifold. The intercooler is doing its thing and keeping the inlet temps low. (I'll post later... I forgot what they were, but they were nice.)

Here's the dyno sheet:

You know you have waaaay too much power when you need slicks for a dyno
Good job, wish I could get there!

Congrats. I would highly recommend going with an SD Concepts Tensioner to get rid of your belt slippage. I was running a single 6-rib belt and had no issues with belt slippage.

Any info on the intercooler? Dimensions? Price? Any pics on your intercooler pipe routing? Thanks in advance.

I've got a cog setup on order. If you go to the webpage, click on "photos of the buildup" These aren't the latest, but they show the intercooler. I'll try to post some of the plumbing. Not sure on the price of the intercooler because it was a package deal. (not from ATI, from Dragon Race Engineering...)

Well the stang dynos read lower than dynoJets, which is what most people use.

As for the boost part, it makes me wish i went with boost instead of the route i took. Kinda confusing how i said that i guess.

Anyways, nice numbers

Thanks. I knew the mustang was a lower reading. It's all relative, I suppose. I went with boost to keep the car streetable. It's still pretty radical, but if I don't really get into it, it's not too bad. I just have to make sure it's pointed straight before I romp on it.

I would greatly appreciate it if you can take some pics of the intercooler piping. By the way that is nice looking car.

Also I thought tR8's are the next heat range colder than TR6's. Have you tried Autolite 103's?

I think you will be very surprised with the throttle response when you install the LTCC box.
