Well, I've always felt that good clean plugs after a weekend of abuse was money well spent. I don't do the wires NEARLY as often. But, I am on my third set in just over a year...stocker, MSD and now Taylor.

And underwear are good for at LEAST a week long run each...change daily? Now THAT is a waste of money!

If you change the opti I might think about a stronger timing chain. Mine went snap at 52K on a 1997. The car is still not up....

Wow, that sucks! I just changed my stock chain at 57K when I did the cam and I thought there was waaay too much slop in that chain, I couldn't beleive how loose it was. I'm so glad I replaced it with something stronger, went with a Cloyes roller. That thing was so tight I could barely get it on.

seeing that i'm new to the Camaro gig, what does M6 stand for, also, why did they put 2 cats on the 96-97 Camaro, instead of 1 cat like the rest of them

M6 = Manual 6 speed

Can't answer the cat question with a definite for sure right answer.
