500 bucks...
Re: 500 bucks...
i was just wondering what are you running in the 1/4? as for mods i would say go for some headers, thats what im going to do in the next few weeks. cant really suggest any because im still undecided. either way good luck on what you decide on
Re: 500 bucks...
I know slp are good but i have heard (im not sure if its true ) that they are a problem to put in (pretty much all headers are
) but if u wanted LTs id say the pacesetters or the hookers are goodIMO..though they are all hell to put on... Or u can save up and put some nice looking wheels on

Re: 500 bucks...
Is that one of thoese sensor simulators? and also my friend just said he'd sell me his new springs and titanium retainers and hotcam for 200 and then i could buy some new rockers with the rest
Re: 500 bucks...
My standard answer to what to spend mod money on is:
10 Lapdances
15 beers
12 tips
2 phone numbers
Big smile on your face the next day
Oh yeah change the oil in your car too. And no Walmart will not take a sequiened bra in trade for a half case of oil and an oil filter

Re: 500 bucks...
that is an ok price for a hotcam and springs your not really saving much. The rockers will cost you $250 new so its about the price of a new hot cam kit. You have no use for a cam unless you have headers. I would recommend headers first. What kind of emission testing do you have? If you don't have visual inspection you can run Lt's or 93-95 single cat headers. My friend put 93-95 single cat headers on his 97. The SLP single cat headers are a PITA to install you do have to jack up the motor on the drivers side. Not a big deal but an extra step over other headers.
Re: 500 bucks...
I believe that in order to reap the full benefits of a more aggressive cam, you would need to free up your heads and exhaust manifolds (headers). I have the Hot cam, and its great, but it works best when matched with improved a total package. So, if you're looking to upgrade slowly over time, I'd suggest the headers, and for those, my vote goes to the AZ S&M's.
