oh, and heads/cam/bolt-ons aren't so obviously illegal too - but i guess you could always just hide the bottle somewhere; God forbid a cop search your car though

someone needs to really work on the heads for our cars get us up with those LS1 guys - its possible, just need the right combination of people and heads

oh yea, Delteq rocks

just my $0.02
Okey dokey. And how much money did all of his cost? How reliable is it? What kind of driveability issues are there? Do you really think that a H/C LS1 is going to have nearly 600 Lb-ft of torque? The point is that nitrous, especially the ZEX kit, is cheap, easy to install, does not affect driveability, and it is not detrimental to your engine's health as long as you are safe with it. I'm not saying it's the best power-adder out there, but for the price it can't be beat. And I can guarantee you that it would be easier to hide a nitrous kit from a cop than a 475 HP N/A LS1.

Please remove the link to the business in your sig. You can have a link to a place like Borla or K&N if describing your exhaust and intake mods but we ask that individual businesses contact the admins for advertising rates. Thanks!

Brent no problem. We have contacted about advertising rates, and as soon as I finish the site for him, J&J will be advertising, but I had copied the sig from another board and forgot it was a link. Totally unintentional.

edit: thanks for the help with those other posts

Glad I could help with this engine build and tuning this monster. It really is a freak wtih the type of number that it is turning out and the times it is running. I would've gotten the car over 500whp if it wasn't so late and I wasn't so tired

J&J worked with the tune while we were on the dyno, as I was set up much more for NA/winter. His on the fly work paired with some old tunes we made, worked wonders.
If anyone else is interested in this type of brutal budget power & torque just shoot me a PM. This is ultra low dollar, think what I could do with a few more bucks

im not fimiliar with the dyno you mentioned, but i dont see a hot cam with a 125 shot making that kinda power.
why wasnt there any motor pulls? its always good to get a base to compare.
just curious......

The dyno is an eddy current dyno just like the new dynojets. It reads almost the same HP as another local dynojet 248c. I would have to ask Mark again but I think the motor pulls were some where in the neighborhood of 340 hp, and I forgot the motor torque. What is so hard to believe about the ZEX kits making big horsepower. This was also a real conservative tune, and a bottle that was almost empty

Jay,

isnt the zex kit a dry kit?? I dont understand how one kit can make a hughe difference over every other kit out there, whether it be NX, TNT, Cold Fusion, etc. I figured that its always in the jets and their quality and the rest of the system is comparable to all of the other systems out there.
