Re: 42 lb injectors too much?
honstly i dont know, im guessing somewhere in the 500 hp range i have a modified and ported lt4 intake with a eagle stroker kit and the builder wants to keep the compression ratio around 9:8:1 or something close like that also le2 h/c
Re: 42 lb injectors too much?
why is compression ratio so low? If you don't use a blower you should stay at 11:1 something.. Any way if you got 500hp at flywheel.
500 x 0.5 / 0.8 / 8 = 39lb injectors required.. I think you should go with 37lb racetronix injectors.. If you should have a little more ,you can pressure up by using your fuel pressure regulator.. For example if you want to have 42lb injectors here is the formula:
(42/37)square x 43.5 = 56psi (((what pressure should you go on your 37 lb injectors to create a 42 lb injectors.)))
btw: stock pressure is 43.5 (3 bar) ,but racetronix injectors are recommended to 80psi pressure.. 58psi (~4bar) is safe pressure..
