42# Injectors and Tuning

Anyone here that has 42# injectors and a mail order tune on their LT1, I have a couple of questions for you:
-How is your idle?
-How is driveability?
-Who (PCMforless or MadZ28) did it for you?

I am a couple weeks away from putting the new 383 in, and I need at least a decent base tune till I have the funds to get it dyno tuned. Thanks in advance.

My friend's TA is running 42 lb injectors (blower, cam, heads) and got a mail order tune from Ed Wright. Idles and runs great. I'm running 36 lb injectors (blower, cam, heads) with Ed Wright tuning and mine idles and runs great too. The best way to go is a dyno tune, but if you don't have a shop in your area, Ed Wright will do a good job. Both my friend and I verified our O2 readings on a wideband dyno to make sure the air/fuel ratio's were safe.
