Would hitting one of these setups with nitrous be worse than non head/cam motor? I cant think of why?

Yes hitting one of these setups could be worse than stock...
Not for HP reasons, But part failure..The stock rods and pistons can only handle so much.....Make sure you have it tuned good,
I sprayed my first setup that layed down 400 with a 150 shot one time, My rod decided it couldnt handle that much HP.....

@ .600 my heads flowed 263 on the intake and 183 on the exhaust.

Thanks for the awesome work on the heads Lloyd.

Thanks for tuning it Joseph, and Thanks again to B-rad for the install.

Re: 400rwhp LE1 Heads with CC306 Dyno numbers

I was hoping we would hit 400 RWHP with that set up. I am sure the tune has alot to do with that. I would like to overlay the graphs and see the difference in this and Josephs (Kryckters) graph. Pretty much the same set up other than CC 306 vs LE2 cam. Would be interesting to compare.

I am sure the car feels like a rocket and pulls "forever".

Let us know when you get some track times. Hopefully it is at soem descent altitude.

Dyno jet

Keep in mind the key to lloyd's setup's is to maximize the entire setup, not just the heads and cam. This is a full bolt-on car, that means 58mm tb, 30 lb injectors, electric water pump, under drive pulley, Kryckter's famous dyno tune and last, to push it over the top, the LS1 LID Conversion , compliments of Alley Speed. With out these little yet vital parts , no doubt that the car would NOT have put down the numbers it did.

Re: 400rwhp LE1 Heads with CC306 Dyno numbers

Yes it takes a good tune to put down nice numbers. I never got my old LE1 heads/cam setup on the dyno but it put down real similar power numbers from the ET mph the car ran. Nice to see other cars putting down 400rwhp with basic head/cam 350LT1's. It's not hard just takes some know how and a decent size cam. That old CC306 still makes some good power huh? Later Clint
