4 AM "test drive" of the T56 conversion and Spohn suspension
My friend and I were hanging out Saturday afternoon enjoying the Z (finally fixed that nasty vibration) and the newly finished T56 swap. We drove around town a little, past some ricer hangouts, nothing big. We came back around 1 AM and chilled in the garage talking about his Fox body that he's working on... then we got the idea to install the Spohn LCA's and Panhard rod that I hadn't gotten around to putting on yet.
It took a while mainly because my 3/8" air ratchet is a complete POS and there's no room for a breaker bar. But by 4 AM we were back on the road. Regular driving, the car felt a little stiffer on acceleration, but no biggie.
Then we pulled in to a Menard's parking lot. In front of the Menard's was a wide strip mall that blocked the view of the lot. I slowly crept over to one end of the strip mall and did a brief burnout. On my buddy's recommendation I revv'ed her up to 4500 RPM, then dropped the clutch.
The McLeod bit like a ****, but more importantly the wheelspin was less than half of what I normally got. The 1-2 and 2-3 shifts were nice and hard, and the rearend stayed planted.
This post might seem kinda pointless but I just had to get this out of my system. It's been a month since the engine has even been running
...Nevermind that the car is back on jackstands tonight for a 4.10 swap

Mine just hit the road again after 3 months so I know your pain.
I installed a new tranny and converter, new front suspension with poly bushings, Drag Launch kit with KYB AGX shocks and a BMR TA, oh and hooker JH LTs.
Been a long 3 months.
