ok my friend has a 01 SS m6 and it has a strange 12bolt in it with 4.10. He said probably next year he is gonna trade it in and would swap me rearends since it wouldnt matter if he trades it in.. how bad would gas mpg be with the 4.10s? evenually if it is to bad i could swap to some 3.55 or 3.73 but i dont think i can pass up the 12bolt deal

 

depends on your set up for a stock car its gonna be to much gear but for a head/cam car it would be perfect. As far as millage wow if you have the heads/cam package you kno gas millage prolly isnt so good anyways. If you decide to run the 4.10's with a stock car my guess will be around 20-22 on the road and 16-18 in the city.

 

I ran 4.10s for about 4 years with my bolt-ons+1.6 rockers, automatic. I averaged about 18 mpg.
