4.10 and 3.73 top speed?
I seem to recall an article in GMHTP about a guy doing standing mile runs. Anyway, with a stout 396, a 6 speed, a healthy dose of N2O, and 4.10s, he was running a standing mile at 160 or so in 5th gear. I would guess that 190 should be possible in 6th, but you'd need a really long piece of straight and flat road with not cops around to find out.
Mathmatically speaking, two identical cars, one with 300 hp and one with 500 hp should have the same top speed if everything else is equal. However, in the real world the 500 hp car will have the higher top speed because it will have more power to overcome weight and drag at high speeds.

Automatic with 3:73s should be topping out around 165-170mph IF you have the power to pull up to that . 4:10s would be less, you'd run out of gear.
M6's top speed would be MUCH higher because of the high ratio 6th gear overdrive

The fastest ive ever gone in my car so far was just over 110... I had just caught fifth then... still had plenty of gear left (not to mention 6th) and still climbing fast... I have 4.10s so its gotta be quite a bit higher than that.

With 3.73s you should be at 158 mph @ 5800rpm with an auto, so your top speed should still be decent, especially if you've got a good valvetrain to handle operation above 6000 rpms. 4.10s are pushing the driveability factor, but if you don't drive it every day those wouldn't be that bad either.
Make sure you have the right tires if you are considering this. Also, for the Silver State competitions we fill with Nitrogen. You might want to consider repacking your wheel bearings with a synthetic grease to handle the extended heat.
