4:10 + 100 shot

I'm probably not going to do this setup but curious as to what you guys think.

Current Mods.....Moroso CAI, !cat, MSD wires, plugs, and that is about it..my best time ever at the track was 9:15 1/8 mile.

I have a 1994 Z28 A4 with 3:23 gears....87k miles...car is in good/great condition.

What type of 1/8 mile times can I run if I installed a set of 4:10 gears and a 100 shot? Would low 8's be possible? I do not plan on spraying off the line b/c I have a feeling "bye bye rearend" and I am saving my $$$ for other stuff so new rearend, not an option. maybe mid-high 1st gear, mid-high 2nd gear.

hmmm....not sure what else I can include. oh yea, I've gained about 45-50 pounds since last year.

Keep the 3.42 gear and get some slicks and run the 100 shot. Dont worroy about the rear end in A4 cars there are guys running 10's with them (A4).My buddie Funina91SS runs 1.6X 60ft times on a 3.23 spraying 150 out off the line.He does have a rear end girdle and soid pion suport (crush sleave). And a 3200 stall. Good Luck

4.10 gears on an automatic wouldn't be a good idea. 3.42s + 100 shot would be nice though.
