396c.i. LT4 parts list update
Okay....I'm back with the parts list of everything that went into my 396c.i. LT4 stroker motor. Somebody posted that they wanted to know what was in it about a week ago, sorry I'm just responding...been busy. Anyway, here's the list:
Lunati 4340 forged steel crankshaft- 3.875
Lunati billet steel connecting rods- 5.850
Forged JE Pistons and pins
Clevite 77 heavy duty rod & main bearings
Speed Pro plasma moly piston rings
Melling oil pump (standard volume)
Here's a little history on the motor. This is a real LT4 motor. It came from a 96 Corvette that was totally demolishished after a horrific rollover. The owner of the Vette had the Lingenfelter 383c.i. conversion performed on it. The Vette only had 1,800'ish miles on it when I purchased the motor from the guy back in 2001.
At that time, my car had about 11,000 miles on it, so I didn't have any problems getting rid of the stock LT1. I drove my LT4 motored TA occasionally until March of this year and decided that I wanted to take my baby 1 more notch up the ladder. I just got the motor back about 2 weeks ago, and hopefully will have it back in the car soon after I purchase a new clutch. Here are a few pictures of my baby!

I forgot to mention that the Lingenfelter heads were left alone on this rebuild, because they were already maxed out on the 1'st build-up.
