im in the process of having a 6 inch rod 396 built
eagle forged crank h beams and je pistons 11to 1 comp
balanced and blue printed

i have highly ported heads compr lifters match ported intake w a 58mm throttle body..comp 987 springs and 1.6 roller rockers and a cc306 cam and madz tuning and 30# injectors
3.73 gears with a 3800 stall..power steering and ac gone along with air and egr delete all of this is from my last motor with less than 300 miles on the parts forgot to mention jethot lt's going into 3inch xpipe and 2 3inch x 18 inch bullets

what size injectors should i be buying and alo is the cc306 cam enough cam for the motor if not what cam injectors should i be running?

and with my motor im building what kind of wheel hp should i get and what should i expect as far as track times ( 1/4 mile)

I just have a question. where are you getting the pistons from. To have a 11:1 ratio, is pretty hard with the wrist pin being where its at in the piston. Unless your not using reverse cooled heads the comp ratio for a lt1 396 setup is 12:1. The only way to get a lower comp ratio is to use a lunati or callies crank that excepts a 5.85 rod.

 

my friend has a lt1 396 that is 11 to 1 ... they make all kinda of compression pistons u gota look

 

not with a 6" rod and a 9.0" deck height and stock size LT1 chambers.
