A good firend of mine is a building a 396 out of his LT1, they are basically prepping the block to handle a lot of *****, the bottom end is speed pro 396 forged stroker kit with a 2-bolt converted 4-bolt block, the heads are stock LT's that have been hogged to high heaven, for the rest of the motor..hooker LT's, delteq, BIG injectors for a lot of fuel and A LOT of SPRAY, (250-450), comp cams 1.6 rr's, fully ported LT4 Intake, 58mm TB, gms maf, the intake and exhaust ports have been port matched to the headers and the heads, i may have forgot some things but...the main problem is his mechanic is telling him the cam is at a 535 lift, he is unsure of the duration or any other cam specs, but doesn't this seem odd or small for the setup?? LMK what you tech guys think?? Thanks in advance!
